Hybrid STIK #3
This is my favorite casting rod out of the line up. I have it paired with a Shimano Metanium MGL, and it is a blast to fish with. You can cast the smallest lures a country mile. Both the rod and reel complement each other very well. Thanks Stix!!!Marc C.
Wonderful set of rods
Wonderful set of rods! They look great, they feel great, and they work great. This set of rods helps me to keep focused and organized while I’m out on the water. I mainly kayak fish, so space and organization is key for me. Although every rod is versatile and has a range of applications, each rod helps me to say “ok, this is my drop shot rod, this is my wacky rig rod, this is my crankbait rod etc.”. So while I’m on the kayak, I’m not fumbling around with which set up to rig up, I come in with with a six rod set up strategy and I stick with it. I’m very satisfied with my set as it helps me have a baseline of all the rods I need to cover all the techniques I need to get more bass in the boat.Jonathan C.
Recommend STIX
Heard about Stix through a podcast over a year ago and had just broke a $300 rod. I purchased 1 to try out and liked it so much shortly after I added 3 more to my arsenal. The only reason I don’t own all 6 is bc I haven’t pulled the trigger on the spinning rods yet since I typically only use baitcasters, but plan on it soon. I wasn’t educated on rod selection at the time and their number system really simplified and helped me to learn and understand the importance of it all. The performance, durability, simplicity and price point of these rods are unmatched and have helped me to gain more confidence and land more fish. Rods are one thing I don’t have worry about anymore thanks to these guys and would recommend to anyone at any level of fishing.Jeremy M.
Outstanding rods and customer service
I have had my Stix Pax for about 6 months now so I have gotten a pretty good feel for most of them and I do believe their claim of “All you need is six” is very well true. They probably cover about 90-95% of all lures and techniques out there. These rods are definitely on par with rods twice their price in both quality and build. They now go with me on every outing kicking out rods with higher price tags from many of the major brands on the market. Customer service was also outstanding when I had a little glitch when first ordering them. I could not be happier that I took the plunge in getting these rods.Adam A.
Perfect rod
Went ahead and ordered the sweet deal you offer, by five rods and get the sixth free! These rods are sweet! My favorite is the Reaction Stix, you can throw just about any bait on it between a quarter ounce and half ounce. It makes an ideal underspin rod. Very lightweight and super sensitive, I paired it with a Daiwa Tatula SVW, perfect balance.Tony V.
Best fishing rod ever
This rod is my most confident and most used rod out of all my Stix Rods and that’s saying a lot. It’s perfect for multiple searching baits of multiple sizes. What I’ve noticed most about this rod is my landing percentage with it and the way it keeps them pinned down which gives me total confidence when one latches on. This is a great starter rod for someone unfamiliar w/ rod selection but definitely recommend to anyone at any level of fishing.Jeremy M.
Worth a buck
OK, well I ordered this rod because I was very pleased with the Power Stik. The main reason I ordered this rod is because I have another brand of rod that is being warrantied and I have been waiting for 7+ Months. Couldn’t wait any longer! I paired this stik with the Shimano SLX DC I had on the warrantied rod. I must say this is a great combination. At 7’6″ I can cast a country mile. Like the Power Stik this rod has a nice range for lure weights. This is why I was attracted to this rod and company. The versatility is huge. There is a lot of bang for the buck. Surface STIK
I will attest that this a versatile rod and would handle any technique advertised. The tip is soft enough for working baits but there is a good backbone that can jam even some heavy gauge hooks into a fish’s jaw. So far this has been my frog rod. I can walk a frog easily and haul a bass out of cover with it. Most of the time I am using 50 pound braid and a high speed reel with the drag locked down and the bass have not stood a chance. This summer I will also be using it for jigs, Texas rigging, Carolina rigging, and big topwater lures. Look forward to another review on how it does with those for me. I think I will have to get a second surface stik in the future to do it all.Adam

2 years ago, my first purchase was the #3 hybrid Bait Caster from STIX FISHING. I was absolutely mind blown from my first cast. I even landed my PB “personal best”! A few months later I knew I absolutely had to get all 6 rods. Each of these rods are numbered and color coded for the tackle that you are throwing. This has made my fishing experience so much simpler and I have gained so much confidence. I am a bank fisherman, I take all 6 rods with me knowing that each rod I have is ready with all my set ups I want to try out that day. I am spending less time cutting and re-tying. I closed my #1 finesse rod in my truck door and even though it was my fault, I had a new rod 3 days later I was back on the water fishing and catching fish.
